Custom Curtains, Pillows and Bedspreads
Scamp trailers come with these odd curtains. They've been using the same fabric for years and years. They are thin, shiny and a tan/gold color. Yes, they match the rat fur, but look like 1970.
Here's a little closer view, but you can't quite get the sheen from this pic.
As you can see, they let in a lot of light as well.
Our color scheme is based on this quilt which I purchased on Amazon. It's a queen and gave us plenty of fabric to make bedspreads for both the front and back beds with extra fabric for throw pillows.
The curtain material is from Target. These are curtain panels that are made from a blackout curtain material. Two curtain panels were enough to cover all of the windows and the back side of the throw pillows.
My talented seamstress sister Heather came for the weekend and we were able to get all of these designed and crafted in two days.
Oh, we even had enough to make placemats!
The back bunk area.
We love how it all came together. The trailer is tiny and hard to photograph. This really did brighten things up with the new colors and the curtains are much better to keeping out morning sun.
I didn't grab pictures of the bedspreads as we need to convert the area from the table to the bed, but I'll grab one next time we do that. Looks awesome!
